What’s Up With Me

I’m sorry I haven’t had a blog up the last couple weeks. This kind of year is rough for me physically. The weather kicks me while I’m down and causes my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome to flare up. I have also had some things happening in my personal life that needed attention. I am all right; it’s not COVID or anything like that. But I had something come up in the last week that required my complete attention, so I missed Monday’s blog, and this week I don’t have much for you.

What I can tell you is that sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is know when you need to take a break. And it is okay to have a time where you aren’t as productive as other.

Thank you for sticking with me, friends. I appreciate your readership, and I hope to be back up to speed next week.

  1. Sorry about your trials and tribulations, Beth. (At least you don’t have CoVid like I do) I hope everything gets resolved to your satisfaction and you feel better soon. I’ve noticed that your last FB postings seem a bit depressed. The New Year will be better for you, I know. Love, HB

    1. I’m working on getting through it. This time of the year is rough for me. My father died right before Christmas a few years ago, so it’s hard. That, and the fact that there’s very little light, and I’m in a great deal of extra pain due to weather makes getting anything done difficult.

Thank you for your warm wards, dear friend. <3 I hope your holidays are safe and bright.

      1. Ok. I DO plan to feel better soon, sweetie pie. I can relate to your feelings about this time of year because of your dad because my mom died ten years ago on December 22, too. And her birthday was Christmas Day, too. To top it off, I called my older brother Jim today to wish him a happy birthday (12/26). I could tell Alzheimer’s has a firm grasp on his brain, and I hung up feeling sad for him and very helpless.
